This weekend was do or die for the Wildcats as they took on Neumann University in the District 1 best of 3 playoff series. The Cats managed to sweep the Knights in 2 games thanks to quality outings from pitchers Zach Martineau, Sam Werman, and Shane Leary and plenty of run support from the entire squad. The bats were especially lively during the second game where 17 runs were put on the board along with home runs from Mike Plentzas, Chris Hyland and Chris Clement. The team is off to Showers Field in Dubois, PA to play for a NCBA D3 National Title. The four-team double elimination tournament will kick off May 18th and conclude on May 20th.
