The Wildcats fell to the Adrian College Bulldogs 1-0 in game 1 on Saturday. With that loss, the Cats fell to the losers bracket and faced Missouri S&T once again. A 7-6 victory ensured a shot at the National Championship against Adrian College Sunday morning at 9am.
The Wildcats will advance to the second round of the winners bracket after a 14-4 victory over Missouri S&T. Action will resume tomorrow at noon against Adrian College.
This weekend was do or die for the Wildcats as they took on Neumann University in the District 1 best of 3 playoff series. The Wildcats will be hosting the District 1 Playoffs at their home field on May 5th and 6th against Neumann University. The series will be a best of 3 series beginning with two game at 1pm on Saturday and extending into Sunday if necessary.
The Doubleheader at SUNY New Paltz on March 24th has been rescheduled to March 31st at the same time.
The November 5th matchup against Adelphi marks the end of the 2017 fall season. The Cats are currently sitting at the top of District 1 – North of the NCBA D3, putting together a flawless 9-0 campaign so far in their first year in the league.
