March 28, 2010 - It was a cold, windy day as the Wildcats hit the road to open their season at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Despite the chilling wind, the Cats’ heated it up with the bats, knocking off Harvard by a score of 18-15.

UNH wasted no time getting on the board as sophomore Andy Basque (Westborough, MA) singled up the middle scoring Artie Patch (Lebanon, NH) and Ryan Tkowski (Medway, MA). Harvard would not let the lead last as they put two runs of their own in the first off UNH starter Mike Piekielek (Amherst, NH).
